Thiruvallam Parashurama Temple
Thiruvallam Parashurama Temple is another ancient wonder of the town with 2000 years old past. Edging the banks of Karamana River, it is dedicated to Parasurama who is believed to be the mythological originator of Kerala. Visit here during the festival of Bali Tharpanam when the whole temple complex is adorned in a traditional way and locals play music and dance on the tunes to please deity.
