Jada Tirtham
Jada Tirtham, situated around 3.5 km from the main island, is known for its sacred pond. It is said that this is the only place in the country where Lord Kapardisvara is worshipped. The temple flaunts incredible lattice and art works.
Lakshmana Tirtham
Explore Lakshmana Tirtham located in proximity to Ramanathswamy Temple. The walls of this temple have been beautified with instances from Ramayana. Other popular temples of Rameshwaram are Dhanushkodi Temple, Gandhamadhana Parvatham, Five Faced Hanuman Temple, etc.
Adam’s Bridge
Never miss a chance to witness the Adam’s Bridge in the town. This ancient bridge links Rameshwaram island of India to the north-western coast of Sri Lanka. It is made up of a chain of limestone shoals and is 2 km long.
Water Bird Sanctuary
Bird watchers must explore sights of some of the most beautiful birds at the Water Bird Sanctuary Rameshwaram. Many migratory water birds can be spotted here during the months of October to January.
